Obsession

The Twilight Series

&

Law and Order: Special Victims Unit

So I got a job at the Hampton Inn here in Sheridan. I really like it but my hours are so different than Jerry's so I do spend a significant amount of time alone cuz Jerry is either working or sleeping when normal people would be at work. So to keep myself busy during these lonely times I've turned to my two obsessions: The Twilight Series and Law and Order: SVU. I just finished Eclipse, the third book of the series and am now anxiously awaiting Breaking Dawn, the fourth book of the series. When I'm not reading, I'm watching endless episodes of Law and Order: SVU online. These are two of the greatest past time options so I encourage you to check them out if you haven't.

There was also Good Old Yellowstone

The Buffalo in the road, one even about hit my car.
Geysers that stunk like yucky Sulfar.

And a Snowy Mountain.

What we saw on our drive to Wyoming....

Bear World

We saw bears sleeping, walking, sleeping, sitting, and sleeping some more.

We also saw a woodchuck, a white elk, a normal elk, and wolf's ears (cuz it was sleeping too).

Jerry is feeding the fish but the ducks kept eating the bread first.

Here's Jerry in the petting zoo with the goat licking his finger. There is also a baby fawn and a mean old pig that Jerry made mad cuz he tried to wake him up.

And you can't forget the adorable baby bear cubs.

Our Move to Wyoming!

So we finally did it. Jerry came up last week to visit and along with him he brought a U-Haul and the news that we had a place to live. We loaded the U-Haul and said our goodbyes to all our friends and loved ones. Jerry didn't have a hard time because he had already said goodbye once and this visit was mainly a reunion, me on the other hand had quite a different story. Even leaving the Hell Hole that I thought Convergys was, I cried. I had made a lot of friends and memories there, not to mention that is where me a Jerry met. Then saying goodbye to our friends in Logan that are a part of so many of our memories was not easy. I'm going to miss the UFC fights we all watched together or the nights at The Owl. Finally visiting my family and having to say goodbye to my parents, siblings, and nephews was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I was able to say goodbye to my very best friends from High School a few weeks ago and spend some time with them but it was not easy either. This will be a great experience and I know that I will make new friends and memories but I'm most excited to be able to visit our friends and family we left behind. We love all of you!!!!!!

One Year and Counting!

I can't believe that yesterday was our 1 year anniversary. It doesn't seem that long ago that we got married. It's been a wild and crazy year. With work, school, and hobbies our schedules have been crazy but fun. The last year has definately been a roller coaster but I have loved the memories we have been able to create. It's been hard to be apart the last 5 weeks to be apart since Jerry moved to Wyoming to start with his new job while I was finishing school but my love and adoration for Jerry has grown since then and I can't wait to see him next week and spend some time together!

Graduation May 3rd

I can't believe that it is time for me to graduate. After 3 1/2 years here at Utah State University, I am having a hard time saying goodbye. This has been my home. This is where I made friends, this is where I met Jerry, and this is where I changed to the person I am today. I have had some great experiences and will definitely be the teacher I am because of my experiences here. I am a grown up. I have to get a real job. I can't believe that I am done with school. This chapter in my life book has ended and I'm beginning a new chapter, in a new place, with new people.

Near Death Experience!

So this weekend we went and stayed at our friends cabin and went snowmobiling. Some of our friends stayed to shoot clay pigeons while me, Jerry, Kelli, and Quincy went for a ride on the snowmobile. We are going up this dug way and Quincy tells us to keep up our speed but watch out for the edge. Soon enough we had slide slightly off the edge. Jerry gets the snowmobile down the hill and back up the dug way but as he is passing the same spot where we had slide off before, the snowmobile catches the track and veers the snowmobile off the edge rolling the snowmobile about 8 times. Meanwhile Jerry is trying to escape being hit by the snowmobile as it rolls over him. It was the scarest thing that I have ever witnessed. I just stood there watching and praying that Jerry would be fast enough to get out of the way from the speedy rolling snowmobile. Luckily all that got hit was his leg and he is just fine. This hill was ridiculous, Jerry says about 200 feet up. After rolling the snowmobile, we all decided to not go on the trail because of our luck and just went sledding down it which was so fun except we ate it and got covered in snow and JJ and Quincy hit a tree. Good times otherwise.

This is the deathly hill Jerry and the snowmobile rolled down.

Here is our crash.
