HaPpY fAtHeRs DaY!

Last night was a hard night for me knowing that today was Father's Day and I wouldn't be able to wish my father a happy fathers day or thank him for his example or thank him for all the help he gives me or even be teased by him for hitting a deer. I am grateful for the sweet husband who gave me a loving hug allowing me to use his white shirt to collect my mascara stained tears and told him how much I miss my dad and talked about memories I have of him. He helped remind me that I had many happy Father's Days in the past with him and how proud he would be of me for getting a teaching job doing what I love. Nonetheless it is still hard to think that there will never be another Father's Day that I will be able to spend with that sweet man. It was hard to visit home without being able to see my dad but instead seeing the headstone marking the place where he lies. I love you dad and miss you lots and you should be proud that I haven't hit any more deer with my car!

UtAh ViSiT

This post is long overdue! I had a great time visiting my family in Utah a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to be there for about 2 weeks and spend lots of time with my family and friends!

Me, mom, and Kristie took Preslie on her first shopping trip to the Gateway. Then we met up with Chelsi for dinner at the Melting Pot. It was a lot of fun!

I was able to see my baby brother Brady Graduate! We're so proud of you Brady! Me and Kristy made Brady a sweet candy bar poster to let him know how proud we are! He wasn't as excited about it as we were.

I spent one day with Parker and Preslie. Me and Parker went to the park and made chocolate chip cookies. He ate a lot of cookie dough in the process!

I got to spend a day with Boston too, but he wasn't feeling too well. :(

We hiked Waterfall Canyon, it was quite awesome!

We went to a BBQ with all our Logan/Convergys friends. It was soooo good to see everyone again, but hard to say goodbye!

We were able to see our best friends Skyler and Dory get married. We are very happy for them! Jerry looked quite nice in his tux.

I was also able to see my best friends Megan and Brittany from high school as well as my favorite roommate KC but I didn't get pictures with either of them :( It was a good trip but hard to say goodbye and am anxious for another visit very soon.
